The fourth episode of the Italian Body Music Project
thus sees the light, dear
friends and supporters! We are ready to deliver the latest
juicy sonic news of the Italian Electronic
scene.
This chapter
keeps the trademark of constant evolution and, in the vein of
IBM v. 3, provides the
widest range possible of musical genres related to the term
“Electro”. Our main frame remains as usual the EBM-Industrial
scene, with interesting excursions into the realms of hard
dance, electro-clash, ambient and even lounge-ish music.
As usual we are proud to provide exclusive or unreleased tracks or remixes, and as with all the previous chapters, you can be sure to hear both well-known and
new names, for a comprehensive, 360° experience of what the
Italian scene looks like today.
Keep making Italian
Body Music the underground event it has been so far,
supporting, spreading and commenting this initiative
throughout the internet, the clubs, and the old good
word-of-mouth.
We also remind
you that, notwithstanding the FREE nature of the compilation, we have a support IBM page thanks to
which you can donate and help the IBM-cause. All the income
will be used for IBM-related issues, promotion, merchandise
and for maintenance of the website.
But this time, pride,
happiness and motivation aren’t the only feelings connected to
the release of IBM.
This volume has for us a certain
significance for personal reasons
too.
Last November, Davide/Dj Harlock, a dear friend - supporter and one of
Italy’s greatest Electro-gothic Djs – untimely passed away,
leaving in the scene and in the hearts of those who held him
dear (many more than you may count) an immense feeling of
emptiness.
This
volume of IBM is
therefore dedicated to him, one of the first people who
believed and supported the Italian Body Music Project. Thank
you Davide, for having been what you have. You cannot be
forgotten.
ITALIAN BODY MUSIC is as
always Alberto
Brandi (dj NOX) and Luca Anselmi
(ElectroWorld)
